A thing that is really hyped right now is brush lettering. I see it everywhere and for a long time I wanted to try it out myself but couldn’t because I couldn’t afford the pens, and hadn’t really found the right ones yet anyway.
But a few weeks ago I finally got my brush pens and I got them in three blue colors/tones because that’s my favorite color. The ones I got is called Ecoline Brushpens and you can get them right here.
I then sat down to practice but wasn’t really aware what I was doing and so I went online to search for something to help me and came across this practice worksheet that takes you through it one step at a time, and it really only took me like 30 minutes before I had downloaded, printed and practiced it so much that I was comfortable on my own.
If you don’t have that much experience in art, illustrations and so on but really just want to learn brush lettering for some reason, I recommend you just print a dozen of these practice sheets and just keep rehearsing those lines. Because in the end you’ll get there and it’ll be the easiest thing ever.
I found the practice sheet from a site called The Postman’s Knock, and to download the worksheet, just click here. And it’s free!
Have fun with it!
